VOLUNTEER POWERED
Since 1989, Our services have been provided by volunteers, the vast majority of whom are AmeriCorps members. You can become a volunteer and help someone else reach their dreams. All materials are provided and training is required to ensure you are successful. All questions can be answered daily at the office or by calling 417-532-6697. EACH ONE TEACH ONE
The Council adheres to the Each One Teach One Model of Dr. Frank Charles Laubach. Within this model, each student is given a one-on-one assessment in order to identify the student's strengths to build upon, as well as weaknesses that need be addressed. Each participant then receives confidential tutoring one-on one with a well-trained volunteer. Each student can pick a time and day for tutoring. All materials are supplied.
